RIM telah sadar adanya error atau sebagian BlackBerry Device tidak support setelah kemarin Rilis BlackBerry App World v4.0.0.63. Berikut adalah solusi fix error tersebut dari RIM:

Error mungkin terjadi pada BlackBerry Device:

Masalah yang terjadi:
BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry smartphones icon is missing from the BlackBerry smartphone after upgrading to BlackBerry App World 4.0.0.63.

Error terjadi karena:

Ada beberapa kemungkinan error tersebut terjadi dengan BlackBerry tersebut diatas:
1. BlackBerry App World belum ternstall kepada BlackBerry smartphone.
2. BlackBerry App World icon ter hidden.
3. BlackBerry smartphone belum direstart setelah upgrade BlackBerry App World.
4. Telah mengupdate BlackBerry App World v 4.0.0.63 ke BlackBerry 6 smartphone yang masih pakai BlackBerry Device Software OS yang rendah dan tidak support BlackBerry Appworld s4.0.0.63.

Solusi Fix BlackBerry Appworld Error

1. Fix: BlackBerry App World is not installed on the BlackBerry smartphone.

Solusi:
Buka BlackBerry Browser di BlackBerry smartphone.
Browse ke halaman www.blackberry.com/appworld/download untuk Download BlackBerry Appworld versi terbaru.
Setelah download, pastikan BlackBerry App World di pindah atau ditemukan di home screen BlackBerry anda.

2. Fix: The BlackBerry App World icon is hidden.

Solusi:
Di home screen BlackBerry , tekan tombol BlackBerry menu dan pilih Show All, dan pastikan anda di homescreen ALL panel.
Bila BlackBerry App World icon tidak ditemukan, masuk ke setiap folder yang anda di homescreen dan coba unhide / show all icon app BlackBerry.
Bila BlackBerry App World icon masih tidak ditemukan setelah periksa setiap/semua folder, lihat berikut:

3. Fix: The BlackBerry smartphone was not restarted after upgrading BlackBerry App World.

Solusi:
Karena anda belum restart BlackBerry anda setelah instal, matikan BlackBerry smartphone anda.
Cabut battery dari BlackBerry smartphone.
Masukan kembali battery dan biarkan BlackBerry smartphone restart. Setelah restart BlackBerry appworld seharusnya sudah tersedia di homescreen atau folder2 lainnya. Cek langkah kedua.

4. Fix: BlackBerry App World was updated to 4.0.0.63 on a BlackBerry 6 smartphone with older BlackBerry Device Software

Mungkin saja BlackBerry Appworld versi 4,0.0.63 tidak di support oleh BlackBerry OS anda.
Solusi:

Untuk BlackBerry yang terinstal OS di 6.0.0.706 dan anda dan AppWorld Icon tidak ditemukan, anda terpaksa downgrade BlackBerry AppWorld versi 4.0.0.55.
Buka BlackBerry Browser di BlackBerry smartphone.
Browse ke mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3
Untuk download versi 4.0.0.55 sebelumnya (downgrade), Setelah Download jangan lupa restart BlackBerry smartphone pada saat pesan untuk restart tampil.
Pastikan lagi BlackBerry App World sudah ditemukan di home screen.
